The jodi of Navya and Anant in Star Plus’ Navya can be said to be one of the cutest ones in the history of Indian television.
Played by Shaheer Sheikh and Soumya Seth, the duo went on to win appreciation and love from masses all across the globe.
The show has bid adieu but its memories still linger largely in the minds of viewers.
Now, Soumya, after Channel V’s The Serial, is all set to enter the realms of daily soap with Sony Entertainment Television’s Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat.
The show is being produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd and hits the screens tonight (25 February 2013).
And guess what? Like a true friend and well wisher, Shaheer, in a chat with Tellychakkar.com, went on to send in good wishes to Soumya.
“I have seen the promos and Soumya looks really good in them. There is a buzz around the serial and I know that it will click with the masses,” said Shaheer.
He continued, “It’s not like typical daily saas bahu soap. It has a unique touch to it. I wish Soumya all the luck and success with Khoobsurat.”
Such nice words…Shaheer. Yeh dosti bani rahe.
