MUMBAI: Cyrus Sahukar in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com, talks about his show Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. He talks about the things he learned from his co-stars, who were the gossip mongers and the character which was difficult to portray on screen.

The things that you learned from your co-stars on the show

I have learned something from every one of them like, working with Lara Dutta was incredible; I have a lot of scenes with her in the show. She will set how to act in the scene and if someone tells her to do in other way she is very open to try that as well. One thing I learned from Naseeruddin Shah and Raghubir is that they carry themselves very casually, they summons their talents on will. They can easily switch from one character to other very fast. I learned to fast focusing from them.

Were there any gossip mongers on the sets?

These women’s were magically sweet. I wished there were any gossip mongers from them. Everybody had their own assignment of things, like Anya Singh was the one who used to plan all the parties. Kritik Kamra used to come with her own things. Soha Ali Khan used to come with the face-mask, she is like a local beauty parlour. Raghubir Yadav ji plays beautiful flute. The entire cast was like working in a travelling circus and everyone is so colourful.

The character which you feel was difficult to portray on screen?

For me the toughest shoot for acting was the series which I shot for Mind The Malhotras Season 2. There is lot of stuff happening to the character. As the actor, I think how to play that character, sometime I feel lost with some aspects of that role.

Kaun Banegi Shikharwati is directed by Gauravv K Chawla and produced by Nikkhil Advani and Sameer Nair. Naseeruddhin Shah, Raghubir Yadav, Lara Dutt, Soha Ali Khan, Anya Singh, Kritika Kamra along with Cyrus Sahukar. The web series has been released on Zee5.
