Amit's role in Amita Ka Amit did not suit Dushyant. Reason? He is too "good looking"

When Dushyant Yadav was rejected for the role of the protagonist Amit in Sony TV’s Amita Ka Amit (Swastik Productions), he wasn’t crestfallen. The reason was after all a positive one. He was far too good looking for the role which demanded a more ordinary looking protagonist. He told us, “If someone is appreciating me saying that I am far too good it means that better roles are awaiting for me. As I am a model kind of a material, Amit’s role just didn’t fit me.”

He also did ramp shows for the Lakme Fashion Week and was a print model. He decided to get into acting this year and promptly bagged a role as Amit’s friend Sanjay in Amita Ka Amit. Dushyant avers that Sanjay will have prominent tracks and won’t be just a side-kick. He adds that these sequences are coming up quite soon.
