Abhaas Mehta not joining the gang of Iss Pyaar Ko... for their play in Dubai

We had earlier written that the cast of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon will gear up for one big reunion of sorts as they are part of a play that is scheduled to be premiered in Dubai on 14 March 2013. The play titled Do Phool Chaar Maali is a comical play directed by Utkarsha Naik’s husband, Manoj Verma. He is also the producer cum creative and the play has been produced under the banner of Ambrosia Theatre Group. We had also mentioned that Akshay Dogra, Utkarsha Naik, Deepali Pansare, Pyumori Mehta and Mrunal Thakur will be part of the play but the show’s main leads Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani will not be a part of the drama. Though, Barun will play the narrator in the show. Now, here we have one more name who will also give a miss to the play, it’s Abhaas Mehta. When we contacted Abhaas, he said, “Yes, I am not a part of the play as I am busy shooting for my new show and it was difficult for me to adjust. So because of date issues I missed it.” Abhaas is currently shooting for Ravi Ojha’s next on Zee TV Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan.
