MUMBAI: The channel Colors is known for its socio-responsible style of shows, every serial has a social under-cause that they put across in their serials. Shows like Balika Vadhu, Barrister Babu, Laado are all at the helms of a great storyline that starts the dialogue, and Nima was started with the same intent.

The audience is now confused because of the current storyline there are two pregnancies, no marriages but marriage dramas, discrimination of an extent and constant demeaning of His constant confusion of feeling towards Nima, the disdain towards Tulika, Suresh can’t really decide to do one thing, and that after one point becomes irritating, nothing has changed after maybe mirroring the same thing in her daughter's life. The discrimination, the insults, the confusion of identity, and maybe single Motherhood.

Nima Denzogpa is a show on Colors that started out with the intent of shining light on the discrimination Nima, this girl from Sikkim faces when she leaves her own city and moves to a whole different new city to be with the man she loves but faces discrimination because of her appearances and ensues identity crisis. The show started on a good note with a social message like most Colors serials do! But the show has lost track of what it is supposed to be and is not lost in the sea of multiple storylines, overlaps, and the constant confusion of characters that comes on screen.

Kanchan is now pregnant and So, is Manya, Paras, and Manya's wedding seems like it's been going on forever. The story is slow and regressive. There is nothing exciting about the plot even the Antagonists are not purely Antagonists.

And what are they promoting to their audiences, for Manya to take so many insults because she doesn't have a lot of money and be quiet about it? Dignity and Self-Respect are virtues we have not seen in this educated girl who is supposed to know better, because that is the justification that they gave for Nima not standing up because she was timid.

There is not one character on the show that is strong enough to Stand out. The Audiences don't seem very happy with this loop and the sliver of hope that they had that this show would improve has gone out the window, and this is what they had to say when asked about the show:

Nimrat Singh Says, " I thought because it was a color show it would be good because it was topical but the show is so boring that I have stopped watching it"

Khushi Dixit says, " Watching Nima now feels like a waste of time because the story won't move forward, Manya's story is the same as Nima's and who wants Deja vu."

Snehal Dutta said, "There is nothing really that interesting going on maybe Iqbal Khan's entry will ignite some interest again for others but I will be only watching it for Iqbal and can't wait for his entry"

Akshit Nagar said ' Why do people in the show not stand up, they just take everything like don't have any rights and I really wish they would speak up and really hope that they do because it makes me not want to watch"

Drishti Kriplani said, "When Manya was getting these vile insults on her wedding day, it made me feel bad, but Manya not saying anything made me feel worse and I think I will stop watching because this is going nowhere ".

The Audiences feel like there is a change that the Nima makers should accept and try to incorporate and these regressive storylines are not a good look on Colors.
