EXCLUSIVE! Naman Arora opens up on his upcoming show Sony TV's upcoming show Dosti Anokhi, says, "I was preparing for such a kind of a role for almost a year and I am happy I'm portraying it in this show"

MUMBAI: Sony TV has always had an amazing lineup of shows that have managed to entertain the viewers. 

The channel has launched several TV shows in the past that has proved to be a huge hit among the fans. 

With shows like Kaamnaa and Dhadkan Zindaggii Ki, the channel is already managing to entertain the viewers. 

And now, Sony TV is gearing up for another new show soon. 

The show is titled Dosti Anokhi and the concept is quite amazing. 

The promo of the show was out a few weeks ago and it has received a great response from the viewers. 

The show stars Ishmeet Kohli, Rajendra Gupta, Sushmita Mukherjee, Naman Arora, Subir Rana, Priyamvada Sahay, Sahil Phull among others. 

Naman plays a pivotal role in the show. 

TellyChakkar got in an exclusive chat with Naman who spoke in length about his character and much more.

What were your thoughts when you were offered this show?

For me, the character that was offered was very unique. I was preparing for this role for almost a year. I always wanted to do this type of character in a TV show. Although I have played a similar character in a web show as well. I was more excited for this role rather than the storyline. 

What kind of role you are portraying in the show?

I am playing the character of Badri who is the lead actor played by Sahil Phull's best friend who will be seen in Kashi's role. My character is in a comic zone and he is a playboy and speaks his mind out. I am always there with Kaashi. The viewers will get to see great chemistry between my and Shail's character in the show. 

How relatable is Badri's character to you in real life?

I feel that Badri is somewhat like me. But there are two things that are quite different from mine. My character is quite loud but I am not the same in real life. I keep practising as a comedian so I do feel that Badri's character is quite relatable to me. 

Naman has previously starred in shows like Kaatelal & Sons, Barrister Babu among others. 

Dosti Anokhi is all set to hit the small screens from 7th February onwards.
