I would love to toy with the action and thriller genre: Pravesh Rana

Well-known reality show contestant and host <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/celeb-watch/what-pravesh-rana-watching-small-screen>Pravesh Rana</a> is thoroughly kicked about his Bollywood debut Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. “It is a fantastic script. Tigmanshu Dhulia has been my favorite director since my school and college days. I was really excited when he narrated my character, that of a cop, which is very pivotal to the script,” says Pravesh. “It is ironical that most of the men in my family are cops in real life as well,” he quips.

Well-known reality show contestant and host Pravesh Rana is thoroughly kicked about his Bollywood debut Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. Pravesh, who is also hosting Emotional Atyachar on Bindass TV, does not feel that doing sequels is easier, for,“ even they need a fresh plot to take the story forward from where it ended earlier.” “Agreed Saheb Biwi… has the same title and same lead cast (Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill), yet we have to work that much harder for the expectations are also much higher from the second installment. You need to be better or at least as good as the original. So it is tougher to make a successful sequel then a fresh hit,” he adds. Briefly talking about his character, Pravesh observes, “It is as twisted as all the other characters in this dark film. You will understand what I mean, if you must have seen part 1. It is easier to play a simpler character, but I loved this journey as it helps to explore the actor within.” When asked to comment on his transition from the small to the big screen? the Bigg Boss 3 participant maintains, “I don’t believe in the concept of shifting. I always wanted to do films and the type of TV what I am already doing. So it is not that I was stuck in television or anything. There are just different things you do in life i.e. acting, modeling and hosting live shows.” Looking ahead, this 29 year old would like to do more different type of films. “I would love to toy with the action and thriller genre,” he concludes.
