Shakuntalam Telefilms all set to produce a new show for Sony Entertainment Television

Shakuntalam Telefilms is definitely on a high these days. Their show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV is doing wonders in the number race and they are all set to come up with two more ventures, namely Reality Stars on MTV and Rakshak on Life OK. Tellychakkar.com caught up with producer Shyamashis Bhattacharya a while back when he shared, “We believe in experimentation and touching different concepts. At the end of the day, someone has to come ahead and add a new flavor to television.” Well…the creative man is certainly living by his words and accordingly, the production house is all set to launch a new show for Sony Entertainment Television. A source informed us, “The channel gave Shakuntalam a one liner and asked them to develop the idea. They worked accordingly and later the channel commissioned the new venture. Right now, the maker is planning to shoot the pilot and will cast seasoned actors for the same. It will be a daily soap with a difference, not a regular saas-bahu saga.” We tried to get in touch with Shyamashis to learn more on the development, but he remained out of reach.
