Star Plus’ afternoon family drama Hamari Devrani has completed a successful run of 100 episodes. This Shobhana Desai production was an instant hit amongst audiences. The show is an emotional saga of the protagonist Bhakti who is the youngest daughter-in-law of the Nanavati family who becomes the victim to scheming sisters-in-law.
When contacted, an exhilarated Krishna Gokani aka Bhakti said, “It feels very good to have come so far. My co-stars are like my extended family and I can’t think of spending a day without them. Being the youngest in real life too I am pampered by everyone in the show.”
Talking about the response the show is getting, Krishna said, “The show is receiving heart warming response from everyone but we need to work a little harder so that we don’t have any rivals.”
Currently the two bhabhis Jalpa and Rajeshwari have given away their devious ways and are supporting Bhakti on the show.Hamari Devrani is a mixture of the various flavours of life which brings forward the nuances and intricacies of relationships between the elder and younger bahus of the family.
We wish the show scores many more centuries.
