Shweta Dadhich on her web series Mombian – Gul & Sakshi Ki Pyaaari Si Love Story
Mombian is a very different and unique project that I am fortunate to be a part of. It displays different ways of projections like the love for yourself, the love for your partner, It is not important one should be in love with the opposite sex only. It tells you that you can be in love with the same-gender there is no harm. There is a way to express your feeling, the way you handle the situation, and the challenges they go through. The human expression is shown in a very nice manner in the web series. I happened to play the character of a Gynecologist who helps the couple. The web series will open the minds of the people about the LGBT community. It is a high time we should show some respect and compassion towards this community.

Shweta Dadhich on saying yes to the project
I got a call from the casting director, who gave me the brief of the film and my character. At first, I told him, I really respect my work and I don't want to say no to the work too. But I don't feel I want to be a part of this project. I am very cautious about the work I do and for that reason only I have done very less work to date. But I am very fortunate to have done some very great projects.
She further adds After a few days, he called me again and said, let me first tell you about the full script, and then if you don’t like the project then you can happily say no to me but before that please hear the script once. Then he explained the script properly and also told me that they have planned to shoot the web series in a very different manner where there is no vulgarity and all. After listening to him I said, to him, I definitely want to be a part of this project.
Shweta Dadhich on showing bold scenes on OTT platforms
There is an adult section who might like the vulgarity. I am a very traditional person, my thought process is very simple. There is a way, time, and age for everything. These days all age children have access to the mobiles, if it is available so easily to them then it can be very dangerous. I don't support that, whatever you are making it has to be in a very restricted manner. I am not in support of such content.
