The beautiful Kritika Kamra (who hails from Madhya Pardesh) is playing a naayka in Ekta Kapoor’s series Ek Thhi Naayka on Life OK. The actress exclaimed, “I would have loved to play a daayan though.”
When asked about her belief in the supernatural, she said, “Even if you haven’t had any first-hand experience, you start believing in the supernatural. I am yet to have an eerie personal experience though. Maybe I hear some strange noise, but sooner or later I discover that its source is something very normal, like polythene under my bed.”

When a journalist surprisingly asked her whether she was afraid of dying out while Kuch Toh Log Kahenge was on, she replied, “I am not scared of dying out. We are doing a show which comes on TV every day. Instead of dying out I am worried about over-exposure.”
When asked what her advice to Indian women on Women’s Day was, she stated, “Indian women of all generations need to stop sacrificing. They should not be expected to be devis, but be treated as real people instead.”
To the question of whether Indian television is regressive, she answered seriously, “A part of Indian TV is regressive. You realize this all the more after you have grown up watching foreign TV.”
When asked when Dr. Nidhi will have a baby in her Sony show, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge she laughed it off saying, “Dr Nidhi has not even become a full-fledged doctor. Also with quite a lot happening in the lives of Dr. Nidhi and her husband Dr. Asuthosh, they do not have time to think of a baby.”
On whether she has got more knowledgeable after playing a doctor in the show, Kritika said, “I think I knew more about medicine before doing this role. My dad is a doctor. We don’t do as many surgeries in the soap. We are mostly busy with love scenes instead.”
When asked to choose the actor she prefers working with, when it comes to Mohnish Behl and Sharad Kelkar, she came up with a diplomatic reply, “I grew up watching Mohnish, so it was great to act with him. He was an easy going co-actor and a fun person on the sets. So, the whole team is happy to work with him too.”
When asked about her relationship status she informed us, “I am single. The tarot reader Eeshaa who was doing predictions at the Ek Thhi Naayka press conference said that I would meet my Mr. Right in five months time. Let’s see”
Kritika…keep rocking!!!
