MUMBAI: Rahul Bhatia has done a number reality shows including Dare 2 Date, Spiltsvilla and Chat House. He has also been the winner of Chat House and Welcome 2.
He has just become a dad and he is on cloud nine. His wife Meenakshi delivered a baby girl on Valentine's day (February 14).
Elated about embracing fatherhood, Rahul shared, “I am fully ready to experience this. I feel I will be an entertaining and fun father. I will be my daughter’s best friend, so she can always share things with me. I have heard that parents of a newborn cannot sleep at night because your baby doesn’t sleep throughout the night. Though I love my sleep but me and my wife, are ready to sacrifice that for our little one. This is also one of the experiences of becoming a parent. Our baby is a premature baby and we are taking extra care of her.
I couldn’t control my tears when I held my daughter in my arms. It’s God's gift for us. Right now, we have thought of a name - Meerah, which is a combination of Meenakshi and Rahul. We are still waiting for the other astrological aspects to be looked into and then we will decide on the final name.”
