MUMBAI: Swaran Ghar is an upcoming show on Colors. It is on the lines of Baghban. It’s the second project by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who have turned producers.
Their first venture, Udaariyaan, has been a huge success. It has been loved by the audiences. It is doing very well on the TRP charts.
The show stars Sangeeta Gosh and Ronit Roy in lead roles, and this is for the first time they would be working together.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Sandeep Sharma, who essays the role of Nakul Bedi (the eldest son) in the show and asked him about his experience of working with Ronit Roy and Sangeeta and his thoughts when he signed the show.
When you read the script, what was the one reason that you said yes for the show?
The story of Swaran Ghar is so normal. It is a story between parents and children. For the first time, it is being made on television. Or else, one sees only love stories and saas-bahu sagas. That’s what I loved. The story is the USP of the serial and that’s one of the major reasons why I signed the show.
Since the show is about the relationship between children and their parents, how is your relationship with your parents in your real life?
My relationship with my parents has been lovely. How much ever you talk to them, one would worry if they are fine or not as we know that we can’t reach there soon. We are only thinking about their safety and sometimes even wonder about the generation gap between us.
What do you have to say about the casting and bond between you three?
For any show to be successful, the casting should be perfect and this show has the perfect casting. We three as actors have bonded so well, and now the brotherly bond is also building as we are living together.
How has your experience been working with Ronit Roy?
I have seen him in movies since I was a child and now to work with him is like a dream come true. While performing a scene, we learn so much as an actor and that’s the advantage of working with a senior actor. I am so grateful and feel blessed to have shared screen space with them.
Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for all the latest updates.
