MUMBAI: Tabassum Fatima Hashmi aka Tabu is one of the successful actresses in Bollywood. She has not only acted in numerous Bollywood films of different genres but also appeared in South Indian films.

Her whirlwind romance with South star Nagarjuna Akkineni caught the whole nation by storm.

Telugu superstar Nagarjuna and Tabu were spotted at numerous public outings together. Their public outings further fuelled the speculations that there indeed was something brewing between the two.

Tabu and Nagarjuna have worked in films like, ‘Aavida Maa Aavide’, ‘Ninne Pelladatha’, and ‘Sisindri’.

In an episode of Karan Johar’s chat show, when the director had asked Tabu to clear the air, the actress said that the Nagarjuna story is very old but it keeps coming back. According to her, the media wants to know if she has a boyfriend or not. She also went on to say that boyfriends come and go but Nagarjuna remains.

Elaborating further about the actor, Tabu added that he is one of the closest people in her life. He is one of the most important relationships she has and that her relationship with him is very dear to the actress.

Tabu made her debut as a young starlet with Hum Naujawan in 1985. The actress has acted in numerous Bollywood films of different genres. Tabu's critically acclaimed roles have been given to her by brilliant movies like Maachis, Kalapani, Astitva, Chandni Bar, Maqbool, Cheeni Kum.
