MUMBAI: Mrunal Jain started his career with the role of Krishna in Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki. Later he appeared in Bandini as Hiten. He also acted in Hitler Didi as Sameer and Looteri Dulhan as Abhinav.
He played the role of Akash Chatterjee in Uttaran opposite Tina Dutta. He was last seen playing the role of Raghav Patil in Bandhan as the lead opposite Chhavi Pandey.
Mrunal and his wife Sweetie recently embraced parenthood. The couple has named their bundle of joy, Jiyaan. The actor says, “The name is apt for my son. Jiyaan means close to the heart and happy forever. He is indeed closest to our hearts and we wish him all the happiness in the world.”
With the arrival of their son, Mrunal’s life has taken a 360-degree turn. He says, “We waited for nine months to welcome our child. Let me tell you, there is no feeling better than the one when you hold your child in your arms for the first time. It’s surreal. It is correctly said that till the time you don’t hold your first child, you won’t realise what it feels like to be a father. I can’t stay away from him even for a minute.”
However, that’s exactly what he has been forced to do. While his work is keeping him away from his son, he is making up by making several video calls throughout the day.
Mrunal has been part of hit shows like Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha and Uttaran. He had tied the knot with influencer Sweetie Jain on June 13, 2013. In 2021, the duo had completed eight years of marital bliss and had announced their pregnancy in August 2021.
