MUMBAI: Hotstar multiplex is becoming the go-to platform for major stars to release their movie and series on, the platform has also delved into creating original series as well. After 'Empire' and 'Criminal Justice' they are coming up with another larger-than-life series.
This time they are collaborating with Bollywood director Milan Luthria to create a spectacle.
Milan Luthria is putting together a series based on Arnab Ray's book, "Sultan of Delhi: Ascension." Tahir Raj Bhasin, Neha Sharma, and Mouni Roy will play the key characters in the show. The crime fiction told the story of the son of an impoverished Lahore refugee who rises from being a weapons smuggler in Uttar Pradesh to be Delhi's most powerful power broker. However, when his history catches up with him, he finds himself in the biggest battle of his life.

Now, TellyChakkar brings you an exclusive update that Jug Jug Jeyo actor Mridula Oberoi will also be seen in the adaptation. The series is directed by Milan Luthria and is produced by Reliance Entertainment and will release on Disney+ Hotstar.
Mridula Oberoi is one name who has been quite in the news for a long time. She is seen in a television show, Kumkum Bhagya which is one of the leading shows on the channel and her recent project was Crime Alert on Dangal TV and a cameo appearance in the Dharma movie 'Jug Jug Jeeyo'.
Sultan of Delhi is a narrative of ambition, greed, love, and passion that spans five decades and two generations. Reliance Entertainment will produce the show, and an official announcement will be made in the near future.
