MUMBAI: After giving some great performances in movies like Makdee and Iqbal, Shweta Basu Prasad recently featured in the short film Yatri Kripya Dhayan De.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with the actress, where she spoke about aperson from the past she would like to meet, her bonding with co-star Shaheer Sheikh, and the USP of the short film.
If given a chance, which person from the past would you like to meet?
If given a chance, I would definitely like to meet the actress Madhubala. She was so graceful in the film Mughal-E-Azam. It is one of my favourite films. And I am a huge fan of Dilip Kumar Sahab. If I really want to have a conversation with someone from the past, then it will be Devika Rani. She was the first actor and producer of the film industry. She was so ahead of her rime and passionate about her work. So yes, If I get the chance, I would like to meet these people from the past.
How was your bonding with Shaheer Sheikh while working on this project?
Shaheer and I bonded pretty well. By the end of the shoot, we became quite good friends. I knew him and met him in Indonesia where we both were promoting our own shows. But during this project, we met and interacted properly, had fun, and chilled on the sets. We had lovely conversations during the rehearsals and workshops too. I think that helped to grow our friendship.
What is the USP of this project?
I think what the audience will take away from this short film is pure entertainment. They will be very careful as to whom to give a lift next time. The USP of this is that we rarely see a movie based on two characters in a car and their conversation. I am sure the audience will really enjoy watching this thriller short film.
