MUMBAI: Bhumika Gurung is one of the most popular actresses in telly town. She gained fame with her performance in the TV soap Nimki Mukhiya. The actress is now garnering attention for her wedding. She tied the knot with Mahhi Vij’s cousin brother restaurateur Shekhar Malhotra. Their wedding took place on March 8, and the couple had an Anand Karaj ceremony at a Gurdwara in Mumbai.
The couple dated for more than a year before tying the knot. Just before her nuptials, Bhumika spoke to a leading portal and said that this is what she had always wanted.

Bhumika told TOI, “I am super exhausted and tired, but I love this feeling. We were both waiting for this day to come! A month ago, we decided that we should get married in March and here we are. Like every girl, I also dreamt a lot about how my wedding would be and it really was everything I wanted it to be.” Talking about Shekhar, she said, “Shekhar was so excited. He has been jumping around and managing stuff. On our sangeet, he danced till he dropped!”
The actress was all praises for her in-laws. “The family that I am getting into is very loving. The way they have accepted me and welcomed me in their lives is heart-warming. They make me feel like their daughter,” she further told the portal.
