Mona Singh gets industry support over viral MMS video

She is one of the nicer people in television. Thoroughly professional, hard working and always wearing a smile. Hence, it came as a surprise to all when news broke that Mona Singh was caught wearing just a grin - nothing else- in a video which has gone viral on the internet. The 23 seconds clip allegedly has Mona bereft of any clothes walking out of the kitchen, sticking her tongue out at the camera, before going into another room to pick up a tumbler and then winking once again. All this without a stitch of clothing on her. The video looks dated and has been shot with a handphone. She looks extremely young and it probably was done at a early stage of her career. Said one industry professional on grounds of anonymity, “It is a very sensitive issue. After the news broke yesterday, Mona walked off the sets in a huff. Everyone wondered what went wrong? However, the video may be a morphed one or real. We can’t really comment at this point of time.” Mona gained fame via Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and currently is a part of Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada (Balaji Telefilms) on Sony Entertainment Television. We got in touch with producer Ekta Kapoor and she smsed us, “Please don’t traumatize a girl.” Others believe that someone with devious intentions has leaked the video. “It might be an attempt to sabotage her upcoming wedding with actor Vidyut Jamwal,” said the insider. Furthermore, actor Gaurav Gera (Tota Weds Maina) who worked with Mona in Jassi Jaisi and is a close friend of hers stated, “I have heard about it and will stand by her no matter what.” Jayati Bhatia, who also shared screen pace with Mona in Jassi stated, “I have not seen those pictures. Generally, speaking celebs also have a private life and if someone wants some cheap thrills and take such pictures they should ensure that they don’t get viral. It is very wrong for a third person to circulate such pictures and the person who has leaked them needs to be arrested. Why don't such guys circulate their own pictures? I know Mona since a long time and she is a very smart and nice girl.
