MUMBAI: Pathaan has been designed as the biggest action spectacle from the Hindi film industry.
Apart from this, Siddharth is also helming Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Fighter’ where the superstar will be sharing the screen space with Deepika for the first time. The film is touted to be the first aerial action franchise movie. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, also has Atlee’s untitled commercial entertainer co-starring Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra. King Khan has also been roped in for Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama.
The director recently opened up about the pressure of bringing the superstar back on screen after four years.
Pathaan has been designed as the biggest action spectacle from the Hindi film industry. According to him, it is an honour and a responsibility to have the most-loved superstar of our generation with them. So, they simply cannot afford to make a misstep at any point. They also ensured that Pathaan’s date announcement video gave bang for the buck to the audience,” Siddharth told a news portal.
Elaborating further, the filmmaker added that along with Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone’s presence makes the movie more exciting as the duo has delivered blockbusters in the past. Plus, they have also got John Abraham on board who is undisputed in action. Siddharth feels that he is expected to deliver a cracking product and he loves the pressure and the anticipation.
