MUMBAI : After the grand success of Udaariyaan, the power couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are back with yet another path-breaking show with a fresh concept. Swaran Ghar has been the most anticipated show in recent times, the show has been already garnering a lot of love from the audience, the concept is not only heart touching but makes you feel like the Bedis are a part of your family.

Ajit aka Ajay Singh Chaudhary marks his return on Television with Swaran Ghar, we got in touch with the actor to know about his character, his bond with his co-stars and more. You would need to take note of all his responses for sure, check it out: 

What is that one that you are looking out for in the show? 

I just want to tell them that this is just the beginning, it is a great start and we are making a great show. We were sure that people will connect as the show had that soul, we are all emotionally connected with the story. We are getting a great response, my relatives, friends, parents all of them are calling me and appreciating the show. As the story goes further, I am very sure that people will get connected to the show too. 

Was it anywhere challenging coming back to TV? 

I had begun with shows like Love Story, Maula Mohabbatwala with Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sujata with Ravi Chopra, Uttaran was a great show so was Phulwa. These shows gave me great scope to explore my art. I am definitely working with OTT simultaneously, there is more time in OTT to prepare for the character. For me, the major excitement was that I haven't done something like Ajit before on either of the platforms. There is challenge but it is exciting too, Ajit is someone around us, I don't need to act differently for this how we do for Mytho or OTT. 

The star cast is already so impressive, how has it been working with them?

I have worked with Sangita in a show called Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, it was like a reunion for all of us. Even with Sargun as we have worked together earlier. Talking about Sangita as Swaran, I cannot imagine anybody else. I even told her nobody but she could be Swaran, the character is quite challenging and she is absolutely nailing it. I haven't worked with Ronit sir, I am overwhelmed and obliged to work with him. He is so sincere and dedicated to the scenes. It is rare to see such dedicated actors and he is always there for the show. They are indeed creating magic. 

Currently, in the show, Kanwal gives Ajit the responsibility of Swaran and peacefully closes his eyes, breathing his last in Swaran's arms. Later, Swaran decides to bid farewell to Kanwal and gives a shoulder to Kanwal's body. She alone stands with the four men to perform Kanwal's last rites. With a heavy heart, she ignites the pyre recollecting their old days together. Meanwhile, other people start commenting about the absence of their sons. Their words hurt Swaran as none of her sons was there to support her. However, as promised, Ajit stands strong with Swaran and gives her the courage to live her life.
