MUMBAI: Tanya Sharma is currently ruling several hearts with her stellar performance in Colors' popular drama series Sasural Simar Ka 2.
The actress is playing the parallel lead in the show and is paired opposite actor Karan Sharma.
The viewers are in love with Tanya's performance and are lauding her for the same.
While Tanya is impressing us with her stint in Sasural Simar Ka 2, she is now gearing up for her web show's release.
The actress has signed up for a new web show for Ullu App which is titled Mini Bomb.
Tanya will be seen playing a totally different role in this series.
The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress will be seen playing a lesbian in the show.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Tanya who spoke about her role in Mini Bomb and much more.
How relatable is Alisha's character to you in real life?
I think Alisha is today's girl. She is very open-minded and very outspoken. Alisha is like how our generation of women is. They don't want to hide anything and speak their mind out which is their right. Alisha is an early 20s girl and plays the character of Mini's best friend (role played by Apoorva Arora).
The show's concept focuses on a very sensitive issue. Were you sceptical about taking up this character?
The first thing that came to my mind is that the story is different and it's funny. I really liked it when I was narrated the story. I was actually laughing. There are many scenes that are situational which makes it funny. If you see our country now and then, there has been a growth in terms of people's thinking. I am so proud to be a part of it as it showcases a nice story in a funny manner.
How is your bond with your co-star Apoorva?
I met Apoorva on the sets of this show. I have previously seen her in various web shows. I absolutely love her work. I was very excited to be a part of this series. My character is so funny. The day Apoorva and I met both of us were talking like friends. That's how the viewers will see my and Apoorva's chemistry on-screen. She is very chill and accepted my character and me as an actor. We shot together very nicely and it was fun working with her.
Mini Bomb also stars Tushar Khair, Anshuman Malhotra, and Alka Kaushal.
