MUMBAI: Pregnancy is that stage in a mother’s life when she is the happiest. But little do the others know how petrified they are and how difficult it is to carry another life for 9 months within themselves. Lately, several celebs have gotten pregnant, and they have opened up about their struggles and fears.

Here is a list of 8 such television stars who are in the most beautiful yet struggling phase of their lives. Take a look:

1.Actress Debina Bonnerjee took to her social media that she is in the last phase of her pregnancy. She faced hard times to get her child, but finally, she will soon conceive. She spoke about every little thing right from a sneeze to swollen feet reminds her about her being pregnant. She quoted, “I am forever grateful for this blessing. The anxiety the fear cannot overshadow my gratefulness… Sharing my journey as joyfully as possible. What may… I am ready to overcome all the hurdles and meet you my baby.”

2.Comedian Bharati Singh, due in April, is expecting her first child, too. She successfully completed nine months of her pregnancy, just as she wanted to. Surprising her fans after her recent maternity shoot, Bharati spoke about her agitation towards pregnancy-related issues. She also stated how afraid she was of getting a cesarean delivery. Later in the same interview to an online portal, she showed her concern towards rising cases of COVID-19 and wished that no lockdown is imposed during her delivery.

3.Kumkum Bhagya fame Pooja Banerjee, who got blessed with a baby girl recently, opened up about her pregnancy recently during an interview with ET Times. She explained how lonely she used to be when there was nobody at her house and she did not get pampered enough. She said, “I don’t want to use the word but there are days when you want to say I want to quit.” Alongside, she also added her experience of the times when she used to get down to her car with her bag and phone to go for shooting, but as she entered the car she had to rush back home because of the feeling of nausea.

4.Kishwer Merchant, who recently got blessed with a baby boy, shared about her fears during pregnancy, too. She took to her social media a picture of her showing the baby bump. A part of the caption read, “When I got pregnant I use to think omg I will put on so much weight .. what will I do, will I ever be able to lose the weight again? I guess it happens to everyone ‍But after a few days I stopped thinking all about it and embraced it..”

5.Teejay Sidhu, who is a mother two a pair of twin daughters and the youngest one too, spoke about her anguish over the second pregnancy. She was scared if the twins would accept their sibling or not. However, all her frets surpassed after she realized how well the siblings had accepted the new child.

6.Ekta Kaul, the lead actress of Mere Angne Mein, expressed her feelings about the first few days of being a mother. She wrote a note where she mentioned about the guilt she faced when she was away from her baby boy due to work. She stated about working in any given condition and yet being a hard nut, but this was the time when she lost it. She wrote, “Haven’t felt this guilty and this emotionally drained for years.”

7.Jankee Parekh got blessed with their baby, Sufi, in 2021. She embraced the journey, but she was also very afraid and panicked as it was the time when she had to take the vaccine jab. She was scared of the side effects the child may suffer during breastfeeding. She shared a note on her social media, at the time. The note read, “Being a breastfeeding mum, I’ve been apprehensive about taking the vaccine, not knowing what repercussions it will have on lactating women. Inspite of getting a go ahead from my gynac and paediatrician, I was hesitant.” Towards the end of the note, she also congratulated all the mothers who manage both work and children effectively, hoping that she could be one too.

8.Addite Malik became a mother of a baby boy in 2021. She very actively spoke about her pregnancy on social media, sharing her struggles. The uploads mainly spoke about issues like nausea, mood swings, dizziness, etc. In one of her posts, she mentioned about how beautiful it is for someone to carry another soul in their body, and the price they pay by having constant mood swings, and no clue about what is happening to you.
