MUMBAI: TellyChakkar broke the news about model and actress Vallari Raj entering Sony Entertainment Television’s Punyashlok Ahilyabai. She plays the character of Parvati.
Vallari is daughter of producer Viraj Londhe. She has even won the title of ‘Maharashtra’s Shravan Queen’.
In conversation with TellyChakkar, Vallari spoke briefly about her role, the shooting experience, and more.
Could you tell us more about your character?
“My character's name is Parvati. She is the second wife of Khanderao. She is very simple, loving, and compassionate. This is my first television show.”

Did you enjoy shooting for a television show?
“It's a lot of work, and we have a deadline for every day. The shooting hours are also very long and a lot of changes happen at the last moment. So, I have to work hard every day.”
Tell us a little about your personal life.
“Well, I would like to share that I run a pet and grooming shop for cats and dogs called Bath and Barks. That's like a stressbuster for me. I also run a rescue centre along with my mom for animals.”
What kind of shows do you wish to be a part of?
“I always wanted to do a historical show because I think it requires a completely different way of acting. Many actors don't prefer historical shows because they fear being typecast, but I genuinely like being a part of them.”
Punyashlok Ahilyabai is produced by Dashami Creations, who currently also bankrolls Mere Sai on Sony TV.
