Kishori Shahane, Resham Tipnis and Uday Tikekar in Saurabh Tewari's next for Life OK

Tellychakkar.com recently wrote about Ayaz Ahmed of Roadies fame being roped in to essay the male lead in Saurabh Tewari’s Nautanki Telefilms’ show on Life OK. The show titled ‘Adaa’ is about the love story of a Kashmiri girl and a Mumbai based boy. News about seasoned actor Farooq Sheikh playing father to the female protagonist recently made headlines. Now, we hear that few big names from television have been roped in to play central figures in the show. Kishori Shahane, who was on a long break post Rakt Sambandh on Imagine, owing to the shoot of her Marathi movies will be back to the small screen with Adaa. She will essay the role of the lead girl’s mother, and wife of Farooq Sheikh. Uday Tikekar and Resham Tipnis (who was last seen in Khamoshiyan) will also play pivotal characters. They will play a couple and will be the uncle and aunt to the lead girl. The unit will soon leave for a month long schedule in Kashmir and Srinagar for which the planning is on at the moment. When contacted, Kishori Shahane confirmed this piece of news saying, “Yes, I can only tell you that I am part of the show. I have strictly been warned not to speak more at the moment.” Resham Tipnis told us, “Yes, I essay a very positive role, and I am eagerly looking forward to this show. It’s an interesting concept.” We could not get in touch with Uday Tikekar for a confirmation. Our efforts to reach Producer Saurabh Tewari proved futile. Here’s wishing the team all the very best.
