MUMBAI: On Kumkum Bhagya, the character of Shabir Ahluwalia was shown to be in a coma for many days. Fans kept on wondering if he would ever make a return. Sadly, the characters of Sriti Jha (Pragya) and Shabir did not get a ceremonious end. It will remain as one of the biggest disappointments of Kumkum Bhagya fans.
Original viewers of the show did not want a generation leap, they wanted a new love story of Abhi and Pragya. In his interview, Shabir Ahluwalia said that it was inevitable that the story would move to the new generation now. Here is a look at other instances when exit of actors made immense noise.

Gashmeer Mahajani’s exit from Imlie made news in recent times. He had a number of projects and could not devote more than 15 days a month to the show. A good actor, Gashmeer Mahajani was loved as Aditya Tripathi.

The show shut down after his exit.

From stories of her demanding a high fee to unprofessional behaviour and cold vibes with colleagues, all kinds of stories did the rounds. Hina Khan did not speak upon it for a long time. The actress was adored as Akshara on the show for eight long years. Later, Hina Khan said that she wanted to take a break from that image, and explore opportunities.
