Star Plus’s popular daily soap Yeh Hai Chahatein is gearing up for interesting twists and dramas. In a recent conversation with Abrar Qazi, the dapper revealed some amazing anecdotes about his journey, check them out:

Tell us something about your acting journey?

There is a struggle for sure, I think everyone does hard work but you must also have the luck factor with you. The industry is filled with a lot of talented people but if your luck works then you would shine brightly here.

You are from Kashmir, how did begin with acting?

It has been since childhood, my favourite pastime has been watching movies, good movies and since then acting, direction all the processes of filmmaking been on my tips. I wanted to enter the field but where I lived there was no scope for this but then I began to make short films, learnt to edit, and directed and my group of friends supported me. After that, I joined an agency and from there I got my first chance with Laila Majnu, the first picture by Balaji Motion Pictures and then the journey began. Later I got a character in Family Man which did give me a boost.

How challenging is it to be a television actor?

Being a television actor is one of the most difficult things, people think it is glamorous and we would be shooting for a few hours. It is not like that, there are alot of emotions invested in it, we have to get into the character for long hours, our life goes on the sets for 12-13 hours as we know that episodes air 6 days a week, we barely have time for ourselves. So, it isn't easy all we need is determination.
