MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with yet another update from the telly world. The reality show Smart Jodi, which airs on Star Plus, has been in the news among fans and viewers. The viewers get to see 10 celebrity couples coming together to explore the dynamics of their relationship. They relive their vows and participate in various fun tasks, tests, and games as couples. We have adored them in reel life, and now, it's time to know them in real life.

This week in Smart Jodi, the participants will have a "Bachpan Special," in which they will reminisce about their golden childhood days.
But it seems like for Balraj Syal, his childhood days were the darkest days of his life. He spills the beans on the show.
He becomes emotional as he admits that it's a good thing we don't relive my childhood days. For everyone, their childhood days are something they wish to go back to and enjoy, but for him, he wants to forget them completely. He was around 6-7 years old when he lost his mom. Then, a year later, my dad passed away too.
He said, "Despite being in a joint family, my sister and I were all alone. It's been years, but I still expect my father to knock on the door and say, 'I'm back from a walk.'"
He added, "They passed away in front of my eyes. My sister and I ask my uncle, 'Should we call you Papa instead of Uncle?' There was always an urge to say Papa."
