MUMBAI: Kanupriya Pandit is a renowned actress who has worked in several movies and television shows in her long career span.
The actress is currently seen playing the character of Meera Sood in Sony TV's show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
Kanupriya is playing Disha Parmar aka Priya's mother's role in the show.
We all know that Kanupriya was previously seen as Erica Fernandes' mother in Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 which was also Balaji's show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress who spoke at length about her character and much more.
What changes have you seen in Meera's character so far in the show?
There have been moments in Meera's life where she used to carry the baggage of her past in the beginning. She was very emotional. Meera was always concerned about her daughters. She was also very bothered by her husband. I feel the Meera which is shown now is confident enough to fight back. Meera looks pretty on the face right now.
Did any scene from the show left you emotionally drained?
The recent scene where Meera comes to know that her husband Mahendra Sood is involved in such a heinous crime was quite shocking. A woman loses all her self-respect. Even though I am separated from him but he is my daughters' father. I also made a change in my dialogue where I stopped referring to him as my ex-husband and just the father of my daughter as that is the fact. The viewers should also know that Mahendra Sood holds no importance in Meera's life. There was also a scene between me and Nakuul that was extremely emotional and we had to say many dialogues. But we both confidently did that scene. We did the entire scene in one go. Nakuul and I supported each other throughout the scene while performing.
How has your equation with Disha evolved with time off-screen?
The equation is amazing. I have had so many scenes with Disha since the beginning. She is really nice and extremely transparent. Disha is also very genuine. Apart from being a good actress, she is a nice person. I love to spend time with her. We just casually gossip on sets. I like the way she balances her work and personal life. Both of us share the same birthday month, so our temperament matches at various levels.
Kanupriya has previously worked in shows and movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan.
The actress is also a well-known writer and director.
