MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp”, where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji.
The audience has given it a thumbs-up.
Kangana Ranaut made her OTT debut on the show as a host. She guides the contestants. The entire concept is a setup in jail.
We have seen how the contestants are fighting in the show to sustain and thus the audience is getting entertained.
Last weekend, wild card contestant Vinit Kakar was eliminated from the show and post that TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him about his journey and who according to him is the mastermind of the show.
How was your journey on the show?
The journey was excellent and with a very unique format, it was challenging as it cannot be a comfortable ride. But the Lock Upp experience was excellent.
Who do you think is the mastermind of the game?
Without a doubt, it’s Anjali and Munawar because the people blindly follow Munawar and his plans and moves. No one is using their brains there and to be honest, Munawar is the one who is planning everything and Anjali executes it and the rest of the contestants just follow.
What do you think went wrong in your game that you got eliminated from the show in no time?
I guess had I entered the game in the beginning things would have been different. Trust me, in the previous reality shows in which I had participated I was in there since day one and reached the finale, but the drawback here was that I came as a wild card entry. The alliances were already made and it was difficult to make friends whereas enemies were made easily and if anyone comes late in the show then the bonding becomes weak and the competition becomes tough.
