MUMBAI: Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth parted ways in January ending their 17-year-old marriage. They have two sons, Yatra and Linga. Dhanush is working on his upcoming ventures currently while Aishwarya has released an album song and gearing up for her next directorial.
Dhanush wished Aishwarya on his social media page when the 'Payani' album was released and called her a "friend". Reports state that the two hadn't met when Aishwarya was directing the album and Dhanush was acting in the 'Vaathi' film in Hyderabad. Now, the latest speculation is that they have met each other secretly.

The couple had been living in a flat in Aryapuram before the divorce. The two are now said to have visited that house frequently. This news is spreading like a wildfire on the internet. Rumours state that they both may have met in secrecy to try and patch things up for the sake of their children.

Meanwhile, in the recent past the actor was summoned by the Madras High Court in relation to the case of the couple who claims him to be their son. According to reports, Kathiresan and his wife Meenakshi alleged that actor Dhanush is their son. The case has been going on for a few years and the judgment is still stagnant. Kathiresan and Meenakshi had claimed that Dhanush is their third son and that he reportedly left his hometown and went to Chennai to pursue his career in the film industry.
