MUMBAI: Imlie is a Star Plus show that went on AIR in November 2020 and streams on Disney+Hotstar. It stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Fahmaan Khan, Mayuri Deshmukh and Gashmeer Mahajani. It is a loose adaptation of Bengali series Ishti Kutum.
After seeking refuge in a hut amid rainstorms, Imlie, a young and intelligent rural belle, is forced to wed a journalist. She discovers that her husband is engaged when she arrives in the city.
Recently, we saw that Aryan takes Malini’s side when he finds out that Imlie lied to him about Cheeni. Cheeni refuses when Imlie tries to take her away. Later, Malini throws Imlie out of the house.

In the upcoming week, we will get to see a lot of high tension drama on the show. Everyone finds out that Imlie is pregnant. An enraged Aryan voices his displeasure about Imlie’s continous appearance in his life. Meanwhile, Imlie is set on reconciling with Cheeni.
Malini's true evil face comes out in the open. She tries to snatch Cheeni away from Imlie. After a 9-month leap, Imlie has a baby girl but Malini being the hindrance, creates trouble for Imlie and Aryan. But it turns out to be fatal for all of them.
Imlie saves an unconscious Cheeni, but when Cheeni wakes up, she sees Imlie running away from her to save her own daughter. Cheeni feels Imlie loves her less because she now has a daughter of her own. Imlie and Aryan have a last goodbye moment and then lose their lives.
The whole week seems to be full of tension and is going to keep the audience hooked.
