Confirming the news, Salil’s on-screen wife in <em> Saath Saath </em>Tulika says,”Yes, it is true that Salil Acharya has replaced Amit Tandon. I think it’s his first day of his shoot today.”

Few days ago, Amit Tandon reportedly walked out of the show as he wanted to concentrate on his album. The production house was reported to be happy with this decision as Amit was struggling to give them dates.
Salil Acharya was unavailable for comment.
