MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.

In the latest episode, we saw that Narmada blames Imlie for her parent’s death. Anu asks Imlie to legally put everything in Cheeni’s name.
In the upcoming episode, we will see that Atharva and his family go to attend a mehendi function where Imlie and her family are also present.
Atharva feels very happy after seeing Cheeni there. When Parul, whose mehendi function is going on, states that she is in love with someone. Cheeni asks her to elope with the guy. But Imlie asks Parul to persuade her parents about the alliance.
As Cheeni persuades Parul to elope, she decides to not tell Imlie about this. Imlie and Atharva cross paths again but before they could face each other, Atharva sees Cheeni and runs towards her.
Cheeni plans to help Parul elope and they are at risk of Imlie catching them. Cheeni spikes a drink for Imlie and makes her drink it. Imlie feels something is wrong so denies it and while Cheeni forces her to drink it, Atharva bumps into them and the glass falls. Everyone’s attention is now towards them and Parul is unable to run away.
