MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Atharva’s father talks to Narmada about Imlie and Atharva. Narmada instantly says yes and Anu gets furious.
Cheeni and Imlie get back and Anu informs Cheeni about the wedding proposal and says that it’s from the richest family of the city. Anu instigates Cheeni to snatch it away from Imlie. Cheeni deliberately pushes Imlie in the mud and Atharva’s father comes and helps her.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Imlie agrees to meet Atharva when his father insists on it. He says that ultimately it will be her decision if she wants to marry Atharva or not. Imlie later shares her nervousness with Cheeni, and Cheeni looks at this as an opportunity to instigate Imlie against the whole idea by saying that guys these days don’t like girls like her.
Rupi and Arpita the next day try to help Imlie get ready. Cheeni walks in and says that she will take care of her and take her to the salon.
On the other hand, Atharva’s father blackmails him into meeting Imlie. He says to Atharva that if he doesn’t go to meet her on time, he should not come back home at all. Later, his father feels upset about his children not being the way he wants them to be. He feels his children are going down wrong paths and that only Imlie can make it right.
We then see Cheeni deliberately trying to hurt Cheeni and spoil her face by burning it with steam. She thinks to herself that she has suffered all her life and never had a family. She feels nobody thought of her when it was about marriage or giving away property.
Atharva’s car breaks down coincidentally near the salon.
What will happen next? Will Cheeni be successful in taking away the proposal from Imlie?
