MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that in the engagement ceremony, Atharva gets shocked to learn the truth about his would-be wife. When he is asked to put the ring on, Imlie advances her hand and Atharva is left shocked as Rudra announces Imlie as the to-be daughter-in-law of the Rana family.
Atharva reveals to Rudra that he loves Cheeni and cannot marry Imlie. Rudra is shocked to learn this and says that Cheeni is not fit to be their daughter-in-law.
Later, Atharva and Imlie get engaged and Atharva is again left in a messy state with having feelings for Cheeni.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that the Rathore family is opening the presents that Imlie got for her engagement.
Later, Cheeni gets a call from Atharva asking her to meet him secretly in the night. She is surprised to hear this.
Later, we see Rudra and Devika Rana visit the Rathore’s at a late hour. They request the Rathore family that after Imlie and Atharva’s wedding, Imlie and Cheeni should not meet much as he feels she could be a hindrance in their happiness. The Rathore family is shocked to hear this and starts to think as to what Cheeni might have done to make the Ranas feel this way.
Later, Cheeni secretly goes to meet Atharva and he gifts her a diamond necklace, which makes her very happy. She thinks that he is bribing her so that she can tell Imlie that he does not want to marry her. Atharva keeps trying to tell her the truth but Cheeni doesn’t listen. Sundar catches them and feels weird. Cheeni lies that he was there to meet Imlie but Cheeni felt that it is not the appropriate time so she was asking him to leave.
On his way out, Atharva bumps into Imlie and tries to tell her the truth. But again due to the circumstances is unable to.
Cheeni hides the necklace in her pillow and Rupi finds it later.
Cheeni later tries to tell Imlie the truth that Atharva does not want to marry her but Imlie starts to cry so Cheeni tells her that it was a joke.
Atharva later decides to clear things up once and for all.
Will Atharva break Imlie’s heart? Will Cheeni get what she wants?
