MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Imlie is lost and scared. She is freaking out amidst the crowd and is calling out to everyone for help. Imlie tries to escape from the crowd so goes and sits in a corner. But she sits at the bottom of the statue of Ravana which is soon going to be lit on fire.
The statue of Ravana is lit and there is chaos amongst the crowd. Atharva spots Imlie and rushes to save her. He burns his hand in the process. He then gets angry at Imlie for being so careless which makes her cry and Atharva then apologizes to her.
We later see Atharva call Cheeni and confess his feelings. He says that if she feels the same she need not worry and that he will manage everything. Right then Cheeni’s phone drops in the crowd and she is unable to hear all that Atharva said. As soon as she picks up the phone and asks Atharva to meet him, he mistakes it for a yes that she also feels the same.
Later, Jatin finds Cheeni and holds her hand so that he doesn’t lose her in the crowd. The Rathore family find Imlie and Atharv. As Jatin and Cheeni come holding hands, Atharva feels that Cheeni does not feel the same for him.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that as Atharva comes to know that Jatin is there to meet Cheeni, he is shattered. He goes home and breaks down in front of his family saying that Cheeni does not feel the same for him. He then agrees to marry Imlie after her mother explains to him how his father feels she is the right choice.
Later, Jatin and Cheeni are sitting together at Rathore house. Cheeni asks about his income and says that she has lavish needs which she wishes for her husband-to-be to fulfil. Jatin then tells Cheeni that he likes her and Cheeni asks him to prove the same. She asks him to jump from the balcony to prove his feelings for her.
Imlie on the other hand is struggling to call Atharva and fears to talk to him. She finally calls him and Atharva answers thinking it's Cheeni.
Rupi walks in when she finds Jatin standing on top of the ledge about to jump. She calls everyone and Imlie hangs up the call which makes Atharva suspicious.
Everyone asks Jatin to get down but Cheeni is confident that he won’t jump so she challenges him that if he jumps, she will say yes to their marriage. Jatin then jumps and we see he only lands up at the ceiling a little lower. Cheeni is then forced to say yes to him.
Sundar calls Rudra and lets him know. Atharva is shattered to know this.
Will Atharva marry Imlie? Will Cheeni marry Jatin?
