MUMBAI :Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh starrer Mister Mummy was all set to release on 11th November 2022. But, the film has been postponed by a week and it will now release on 18th November 2022. So, this means that the movie will be clashing with Ajay Devg, Tabu, and Shriya Saran starrer Drishyam 2. The movie was going to get a solo release, but now as Mister Mummy has been postponed, that’s not happening.

Well, interestingly Mister Mummy and Drishyam 2, both the movies are co-produced by T-Series and that’s why netizens are trolling the production house. Clearly, netizens are not happy about Mister Mummy clashing with Drishyam 2. A netizen tweeted, “Kitna mahan hai Tseries wah.. khud ki hi do films clash kar raha.”

Mister Mummy is a comedy film about a man getting pregnant. It is directed by Shaad Ali and will mark Genelia’s comeback in Bollywood after nearly 10 years. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 is a sequel to 2015 release Drishyam.
The first instalment was a remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam and it has done well at the box office, and the sequel is also a remake. This year, remakes have not done well at the box office, so it will be interesting to see what response Drishyam 2 will get.
Well, if we talk about the pre-release buzz, Drishyam 2 is quite ahead of Mister Mummy. So, of course one can expect the Ajay Devgn starrer to take a better opening at the box office. However, 2022 has been a very surprising year when it comes to box office, so you never know.
