Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is one of the top shows on Indian television. The ratings are exceptionally good and the audience loves the track of the show and the chemistry between Virat and Pakhi.

Vihan Verma plays the role of Mohit Chavan, Virat’s cousin. The audience loves him for his character.

We see you and Aishwarya together on social media all the time. Who else do you gel up with on the set?

“I share a very good rapport with Neil also. It's not that visible between the two of us as Neil is not that active on social media. He needs to be pestered a lot to even make a reel or take pictures. He likes to enjoy the moment and I think that’s great. For me, I like to enjoy the moment and capture it so that it becomes a memory. Neil is like a brother to me. He watches out for me, takes care of me, and guides me. I have developed a very special bond with Sheetal Ji who plays my mother. I bond with Neha who plays my wife, and Tanvi who plays Shivani. I feel these are my core people and I can blurt out anything in front of them without thinking that they will judge me.”

The show has now been airing for 7 days a week. Has the workload increased and how do you manage a work-life balance?

“We have never had any particular day off. It’s just that earlier we used to have Sunday to create a bank of the episode. Now, it has become tougher, getting holidays has become difficult. The workload has increased a lot for us but more so for the leads. The episode finishes in 20-25 minutes, but to shoot that amount, takes a lot of hard work, not just from the actors but from the entire unit. I feel the major pressure is on the production team to manage everything. In a way, it is good that Star Plus has made us connect to the audience all days of the week.”

What other types of roles do you wish to explore in the future?

“Honestly, I wish to do a grey shade or negative character. I have done only positive character roles. There are a lot of things you get to do and explore while portraying a grey character. It is not as if positive characters don't let you do anything. Grey characters will set a different image of you  that you are capable of doing such roles as well.”
