MUMBAI: Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary needs no introduction. She is one of the best actresses in the country who shows her excellent acting skills through important films and web series.
The actress well-known for her work in various web series, which include Scam 1992 starring Pratik Gandhi and Anjali Barot, The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, The Réunion starring Veer Rajwant Singh and Sapna Pabbi and Unpaused: Naya Safar starring Priyanshu Painyuli and Geetanjali Kulkarni. She has been a part of some important Bollywood films like Why Cheat India, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 and Looop Lapeta.
Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress where she makes the weirdest confessions.
What is that one body part that you wouldn’t mind losing?
One of my eyelashes.
Which is that one fictional character you feel would be boring to meet in real life?
This will be horrible and controversial answer - Harry Potter. He’s gone through too much trauma. It’ll be a very sad story. I know his story, I mean seven books.
What is the dumbest way you’ve gotten hurt?
Once, I was constantly running behind my sister because she did something. She’s tiny so she used to run in the furniture, under the table. I’m tall and I feel like a giant. I’m constantly in the chase to hurt her and beat her up. But then, it's me who ended up having a fracture.
Another time, I fractured my right hand because I was trying to do ‘The Karate Kid's kick. It was really bad. Even on set, I get hurt so many times. All stupid posters keep falling on me.
What is the grossest thing you’ve done in public?
I have done so many things. I don’t know which one is the grossest.
I’m not going to reveal what I did because it is scandalous and this is a family television. I did something I’ve never done in my life on a public beach. It was recently when I went to Barcelona.
What’s the worst purchase you have done recently?
Worst Purchase – I bought a dress that I am sure I won’t wear.
If your family had to give you a weird name, what would it be?
My mother calls my ‘Kutti’ which is a word for small in Telugu and my cousins actually call me Shakespeare.
What is that one compliment that sounds like an insult?
“Wow you look so nice today”.
What is the biggest screw up in the kitchen you have had?
I don’t go to the kitchen. I only go there because of the fridge. I’m very bad. If you want to kill someone, call me. I’m that bad of a cook.
What’s the most useless talent you have?
I can say words ending with ‘O’ in a perfect Australian accent.
