MUMBAI: Soon, the Hindi adaptation of the Turkish television programme One Thousand and One Nights (also known as Arabian Nights), called Katha Ankahee, will premiere on Sony TV. This show is produced by Sphere Origins. Aditi Dev Sharma and Adnan Khan will play the main characters in the show. The parallel leads, Sheen Dass and Samar Virmani, have recently joined the cast.

As per sources, Priyamvada Singh has bagged a role in the show. She will be portraying the role of Farah, a South Bombay based Parsi lady, mother to Ehsan (Samar Virmani), who is Viaan’s best friend (the male lead). She will play a strong and practical woman.
Priyamvada Singh is known for shows like Star Plus’ Nazar and Shaadi Mubarak. She was also a part of the film Gone Kesh.
Some of the notable works of Sphere Origins include Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Balika Vadhu, Saraswatichandra, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and Pandya Store.
Aditi Sharma is popularly known for the show Ganga and the film Ladies VS Ricky Bahl. Adnan Khan gained fame through the Zee TV show Ishq Subhanallah.
