MUMBAI: Luv Ranjan’s next has been in the making for the past couple of years. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, and finally, the makers have revealed the title of the film. The movie is titled Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Shraddha took to Instagram to share the official poster of the film, and wrote, “And the title is…… Finally Here !!! Dekhoooo.”
Yesterday, the actress shared a poster with the initials of the title, TJMM. Netizens started guessing the film’s title and there were some hilarious reactions to it. A netizen had commented, “Tu Juhu mein malad.” Another Instagram user wrote, “Tu Jinda Main Margaya.”
This will be for the first time when Ranbir and Shraddha will be seen together on the big screens. Moviegoers have been excited to watch the film in theatres and the release date has been changed multiple times.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was slated to release on Holi this year, but has been postponed to Holi next year. Well, it’s a holiday weekend, and after a long time moviegoers will get to watch a rom-com, so it might turn out to be a hit at the box office.
Also, Shraddha’s fans are excited to watch her on the big screen after a gap of three years. Her last release was Baaghi 3 which did average business at the box office. This year, we got a small glimpse of her in the song Thumkeshwari from the film Bhediya, and it was a hint that she will be soon coming back as Stree.
Talking about Ranbir’s movies, apart from Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, he has Animal lined up. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri, is slated to release in August 2023.
