MUMBAI : Star Plus' popular show 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' started as a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising their siblings' son, Saaransh together.
The show is currently going through a dramatic tangent. The show has taken a leap of 20 years where Rudra and Preesha are now dead, and the story focuses on Nayantara and Samrat.
Previously we saw that Samrat dedicated his song to Nayantara and began singing. Ishani and Grandma were also watching Samrat’s concert. Nayantara told them that she does not understand what’s so special about Samrat. Till now, Samrat and Nayantara have had chase meetings. Ishani left for her dance audition. Chintu refused to go to school because he did not pay his school fees yet. So Nayantara gave him the money which she had saved to buy new specs for herself. Grandma learnt about it and so she scolded Malti for bringing her friend’s child to their house after her friend’s death. Meanwhile, Aliya reminded Samrat that someone is coming, and left from there. Mohit thanked Samrat for saving him from Aliya’s anger.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Samrat is ready to welcome someone, and is excited and emotional. Samrat is introduced as a rich, spoilt brat, who is a womanizer and a popular rockstar who is oblivious to the exploitation he faces. But at this moment, he becomes very emotional. We also see that Ishani goes to meet someone at a hotel, and when Nayantara overhears her conversation, she follows her there.
But the biggest surprise will be revealed when the person who Samrat is waiting for turns out to be none other than Revathi. Samrat is the youngest son of Rudra and Preesha, who Revati left the country with. Revati manipulates Samrat into hating his father.
