MUMBAI: Ravjeet Singh has impressed one and all with his performances in his various TV shows and web series. He is currently seen in Unbachelored, which is being premiered on YouTube.
TellyChakkar recently interacted with Ravjeet and spoke to him about his web series Unbachelored, the comparisons with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and more.
What response are you getting for Unbachelored?
The response has been great so far and people are really enjoying the show, as it is light-hearted and very relatable. Friends and family members are constantly sending messages to me over DM on Instagram. They completely love my chemistry with Viraj.
Viraj Ghelani is also a part of the show and he is fantastic when it comes to comedy. So, was there a pressure on you to share the screen space with him?
Not really. Viraj is a popular content creator known for his funny videos relatable to his viewers. We were perfectly comfortable playing each of our roles. I did not feel overwhelmed or pressurised as I knew I was playing my character and Viraj was playing himself.
After watching the trailer, a lot of people stated that the web series reminds them of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. So, was there a pressure that your web series will be compared to the film?
I don’t exactly remember how Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety ended. I think how it ended was when the girl was left alone, and he chose his friend over the girl. Our web show is different. We are trying to show a dynamic where everything can kind of be sorted out and can be worked out. There have been so many times that things are made on the same topic, and it is bound to have comparisons. But as an actor, it never crossed my mind.
