How excited or nervous are you for your Bollywood debut?
There’s a combination of both, I am very excited as it’s my debut, but I am very nervous also as we are clashing with Pathaan. So, there are mixed feelings, but I am more excited.
Tell us something about your role in Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh
The name of my character is Naren, he is a young professor who teaches university students in Delhi. Tanisha’s character is my love interest and she works with Gandhi Ji. So, as my character is a professor, he is a bit ahead of his time.
How was your experience of working with a veteran director like Rajkumar Santoshi?
When I went for my first meeting with Raj sir I was very nervous because I have never met anyone like him before. I was like what should I say and what I should not? But, the moment I met him, he made me feel so comfortable as if I have known him for 10 years, and after the first meeting, it was all chill. He is so experienced and he knows how to direct his actors and make them perform. Also, the overall experience was very good because I got to learn a lot from him.
