MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s film Sooryavansham is one of the movies that is regularly played on TV. It is also one of those movies which has had many memes made on it that have been used on social media. Recently, one television viewer who got extremely frustrated with the movie being telecasted on repeat has written a letter to the channel to question them on the same.
In the letter to the channel, the man wrote in Hindi saying, “Your channel has the viewing rights of the film. My family and I are well-versed with Heera Thakur and his family. After watching the extra innings of ‘Sooryavansham’, we have learnt it by heart.” He further asked the channel, “I want to know how many times has your channel telecast this film. Also, how many times will you telecast the movie in the future? If our mental health is adversely affected (madness) then who should be held responsible? Please provide the information.” Ever since it was released, this letter has been going viral on social media.

We are not sure if the channel has responded, but it has surely entertained netizens to see the man troubled as he could not keep watching the movie on repeat.
Directed by EVV Satyanarayana, the movie ‘Sooryavansham’ released in 1999 and stars Amitabh Bachchan and the late actress Soundarya in the leading role, along with Kader Khan, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Sudha as well. Actress Rekha was also a part of the film since she had dubbed for the actresses who played Amitabh Bachchan’s wives in the movie.
