MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty tied the knot with cricketer KL Rahul on Monday. In an intimate wedding setup at actor Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala, the couple, who have been dating for a while now, got married as per Hindu traditions in the backdrop of the setting sun in the midst of their close friends and family members.
The duo wore traditional outfits by designer Anamika Khanna and set fashion goals for the modern bride and groom. Athiya's ethnic charm was complemented by her sublime nude look that blended perfectly with her soft pink lehenga set. Her bridal beauty look is a lesson for modern brides who want to emulate the actress's subtle and chic strokes.

Athiya abided by the nude trend, much like Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma, and embraced the minimal glam look for her wedding day. Her monochromatic makeup boasted soft pink blush, subtle pink eyeshadow, nude tinted lips, and a swipe of eyeliner with mascara.

She certainly made a statement in modern bridal beauty with her au-natural makeup. The classic bun was perfectly adapted by Athiya, who kept it simple and fuss-free while her middle partition was blurred by her polki maang-tikka. Her dupatta exuded elegance in her classic bridal hairdo.

Athiya's hair and makeup artist Namrata Soni, who shared pictures on Instagram, kept the bride's look rooted in Indian tradition yet added hints of modish subtleness, eradicating any ounce of dark hues that wouldn't complement the lehenga set.

To top it off, the Hero actress ended her makeup with the quintessential yet versatile mini red bindi, the only accessory in her colour palette that screamed vintage. Brides, take notes - Athiya's amalgam of traditional and modern hints can give your wedding look the uniqueness you want.
Apart from Athiya's soft pink embroidered lehenga, her heavy polki necklace, earrings, personalised cascading charms and maximalist mehendi by Anju Bhandari accentuated the modern bride's appeal.
