MUMBAI:Kumkum Bhagya has frequently managed to gain the top
position from the time of its inception, all thanks to the outstanding cast and gripping storyline. Fans are in awe of the chemistry between the lead couple Prachi and Ranbir played by Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul respectively. Tina Ann Philip aka Rhea plays a grey character. The show recently took a major leap and Ranbir and Prachi are seen living their separate lives.
Currently, Khushi is saved from her abusive drunkard father by Ranbir. This puts an end to the pain suffered by her due to her Mai's boyfriend.

Ranbir not only stops his hands when he tries to beat Khushi, but also gives him a good blow of punches. In counter-attack, the man brutally stabs Ranbir.
When Ranbir gets hospitalised, Khushi contacts her Parvati, who is Prachi. Prachi panics upon receiving the call and decides to leave for the hospital immediately.
Dadi denies letting Prachi to go to see Ranbir.
