Exclusive! Is Mentalhood season 2 happening? Here’s what Sandhya Mridul has to say

MUMBAI:In 2020, a web series titled Mentalhood had premiered on ZEE5 and ALT Balaji. It starred Karishma Kapoor, Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Shilpa Shukla and Shruti Seth. The show revolved around parenting and had received a good response.

The show had ended with a hint that there will be a season 2. But, it’s been three years since the first instalment premiered and we haven’t yet heard any update about the season 2 of the series.

TellyChakkar interacted with Sandhya Mridul and when asked her about her upcoming projects and if Mentalhood season 2 is happening, she told us, “I can’t answer both the questions at this point (laughs). But, both have positive answers, and that’s what I can tell you. I have another interesting project that I think should be out in another two months on another platform and you may not be able to recognise me, that much I can tell you. But, I can’t speak about it right now because its publicity will start later.”

Sandhya Mridul was last seen in Zee5’s Taj: Divided by Blood in which she played the role of Jodha Bai. Her performance in the series was appreciated.

Sandhya started her journey with TV and did shows like Aashirwad, Koshish – Ek Aashaa, Hubahu, and others. She has also been a part of movies like Saathiya, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, Page 3, and many more. Mentalhood marked her OTT debut, and she was later seen in Tandav.
