MUMBAI: Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.

In the previous episode, Surilii and Shivendra enjoy their time as they are having coffee and a heartfelt conversation, during which Shivendra reveals to Surilii that the location they are at is very special to him as it was his father's favourite spot, and they used to come here together.
After hearing Shivendra's story, Surilii empathizes with him and begins to think about her own family. While discussing her parents, Surilii becomes emotional and starts crying.
With an intention to provide comfort, Shivendra holds Surilii's hand. Meanwhile, Madhumalti hugs Damayanti and explains her reasons for agreeing to Shivendra and Swatilekha's wedding.
She warns Damayanti that nothing wrong should happen to her daughter, or else she will have to face severe consequences.
In the upcoming episode, Surilii bids goodbye to Shivendra but just when she starts to leave, Shivendra feels that he cannot let her go like that.
Therefore, He asks her if he can drop her off at Mumbai in his car. Surilii agrees to it.
Meanwhile, Damyanti feels happy finalizing Shivendra and Swatilekha's wedding but she notices Veera's confusion by looking at his face and assures him that Shivendra will not disagree with the decision, especially since it's her birthday.
Meanwhile, Shivendra drops Surilii and they part ways but just then, Monty attacks Surilii and Shivendra witnesses this.
In an attempt to stop Monty, Shivendra himself gets stabbed by him.
